ABOUT THE IMAGE
Samia Gamal is considered one of the greatest dancers of the Golden Age of Egyptian dance.
He was the only artist that influenced generations of his time, both in the East than in the West. Raqs Sharqi brought up from Egypt, and from there to Hollywood in the schools of Europe.
On stage, at her debut as a soloist, Samia forget the choreography, the audience begins to boo and she runs away, forced by the choreographer to return to the scene, Samia, panicked, takes off her shoes and begins to dance improvising. The audience cheered and since that time, she was called “the bare-feet dancer “.
Acclaimed as an artist abroad, many directors want her in their films.
Until his death in 1994, she made a very retired life. All calls from Europe and America to teach were categorically rejected. She felt an artist and a performer, not a teacher.
Her legacy are 84 movies in which she is the protagonist .
Her unique style, full of arabesques, pirouettes, varied movements with arms and veil, inspired, inspire and will inspire generations of dancers.
A little curiosity: in the French film “Ali Baba and the 40 thieves” Samia wore a jewel to cover the navel: no dancer before her had ever done.

HOW TO TAKE MEASURES
CHEST: measure the breast circumference at the point of maximum projection.
UNDER BUST: measure the circumference of the bust just below the breast.
SHOULDER: measure the length from a tip of the shoulder to the other shoulder.
SLEEVES: measure the arm starting from the shoulder to the desired length of the sleeve (wrist, just below the elbow or above).
UPPER ARM: measure the arm circumference at its widest point.
WAIST: measure the waist circumference in its narrowest point.
LOW WAIST: measure your waist circumference about 3-4 inches below the navel.
HIPS: Measure the hip circumference at the point of maximum projection.
INSEAM: measure the length from the waist to the front to the back.
PROCESSING TIME
The processing tims are variable. I will do my best to respect the delivery schedule, but I can’t always guarantee them.
I ship from Monday to Saturday morning.
The items ready for IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT, are typically shipped within 1 to 3 business days.
For CUSTOM items calculate from a week it up.
