Hey you, yes you… I do mean you!
I’m sure you have not come here by accident. I don’t know you, but I think if you are impressed by my creations there’s a reason, and it’s very simple. Being a woman is not easy, we know … even today, after thousands of years, we find ourselves fighting to assert ourselves and our femininity.
I know you are also a dancer, just like me… and perhaps now you want to wear something different, something that is in harmony with your true nature and personality.
So you are welcome in my dance costume shop for warriors and goddesses of the New Millennium!
Artemisya’s art speaks about emancipation, freedom, fighting spirit, strength, energy and rebellion. All seasoned with an ethnic and tribal style, with references to Greek and Roman mythology (I’m Italian!) but also to Mama Africa’s tribal spirit; winking at the Gothic and dark style.
If you want to join the Tribe, follow us in this return to the roots… take back our ancestral dance and dance around the fire, in harmony with the rhythms of nature, like the modern Gawasi!
